Coco Theatre company
Coco Theatre is a Brisbane/Meanjin based theatre company. We are a creative arts hub, producing theatre works and running weekly drama, acting and creative arts workshops around Queensland. We are passionate about working with and creating work for all ages, especially young people.
Courtney Wagner
Founder & Drama Facilitator
Courtney Wagner is a multi-disciplinary artist based in Brisbane, Queensland. Courtney completed her bachelor's degree in Theatre, Majoring in Acting at the University of Southern Queensland in 2016 and has since been involved in acting and directing for professional stage and screen works. Over the last 6 years Courtney has facilitated a multitude of acting, film and drama workshops for primary and highschool students at a range of venues across Queensland including acting agencies, theatres and schools. Courtney completed LaBoites HWY Program 'Assembly' as both an Actor and Director and was accepted into the RASN Creative Business Champions Program as a Producer. She has also been a casting coordinator. production assistant, runner and first AD on many TV commercials shot in Queensland. As well as assistant stage managing Diary of a Deadman at Powerhouse, Babushka with Little Match at Metro Arts and being design assistant for shows throughout Brisbane Festival. Her latest acting production was with RAVA's touring show of 'Charlotte's Web' & 'Wind in the Willows', where she played many fun characters as they toured around North Queensland. She also produced a staged production for the Curious Arts Festival, called Happy Place and will commence a Creative development for a new Work with the Empire Theatre this year. Courtney has just opened Coco Theatre Company and is dedicated to working with young artists and creating opportunities.

Coco Theatre is excited and open to collaborating and producing works around Queensland in 2023. We run weekly workshops in venues and can also offer in-school workshops!
